Credit: Wikimedia Commons Katherine Abughazaleh lost her primary bid in the crowded field to replace Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) in Illinois’ 9th Congressional District. The Gateway Pundit reported that Abughazaleh participated in anti-ICE protests in the fall, which ultimately led to charges. Abughazaleh was indicted, along with five others, for conspiring to impede the work of a federal law enforcement officer.
