More than 40 Revolutionary War heroes were finally properly laid to rest this weekend in New York. The remains of the soldiers were discovered in 2019 during a construction project in Brooklyn, New York. The soldiers’ remains were taken to the New York State Museum in Albany, New York. This weekend they were transported to their final resting place in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Their remains were laid to rest Friday at the new Repose of the Fallen memorial in Lake George Battlefield Park – north of New York City.
