That may not seem like much, but it’s huge in the context of this race. Bass is not only the incumbent mayor, she has the backing of the establishment in a blue city. No one even knew who Spencer Pratt was a month ago. For him to overtake her in a poll, any poll, by any amount, is nothing short of stunning. This just doesn’t happen. A lot of this has to do with Pratt’s viral ad campaign, but it also has much to do with his willingness to speak hard truths to the voters about why the city is falling apart….
