On Wednesday, the NRCC sent flowers and a condolence card straight to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ Washington, D.C. office. The gesture came after a brutal night in New York, where three House candidates backed by Jeffries were steamrolled by candidates endorsed by radical NYC Mayor and Democratic Socialists of America leader Zohran Mamdani.
