A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump Administration’s voter-screening database. US District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, a Biden appointee, said the Trump Administration “haphazardly combined and repurposed the private information of millions of Americans, including citizenship data that they knew to be unreliable.” Last March, President Trump signed an executive order aimed at preserving and protecting the integrity of US elections. “Free, fair, and honest elections unmarred by fraud, errors, or suspicion are fundamental to maintaining our constitutional Republic.
