Melissa Ann Hufford, lovingly known by many as Momo, 46, of Richmond, MO, passed away on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026.
Born on December 12th, 1979, in Richmond, MO.
Melissa Ann lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. She was known for her love for her girls, grandson, Oaklee, and her many adopted nieces and nephews. She was an amazing daughter, mother, friend, sister, and niece.
Melissa Ann is survived by her father, Dale Hufford; brother, Dale Wayne Hufford; daughters, Amaya Maddox (London) and Danica Hufford; grandson, Oaklee; aunts: Peggy Brubeck, Gloria Cunningham, and Linda Jobe (Ken); uncles: Larry Danner, Lucien Hocking (Lori), Terry Hufford (Debrah), and Kenneth Hufford (Mary); as well as many cousins and adopted nieces and nephews.
Melissa Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ann Hufford, brother, baby boy Hufford, Grandpa Cunningham, Nannie Cunningham, uncle, Jackie Cunningham, aunt, Suzie Danner, and two uncles, Roland Brubeck and Jimmy Hufford.
Though deeply missed, Melissa Ann’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Melissa Hufford Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
Visitation with funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M., with services to follow at 2:00 P.M.
