Amber Nicole Jenkins, age 47, of Brookfield, MO; passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, August 4, 2026, at her home in Brookfield surrounded by her loved ones.
Amber Nicloe was born on December 11, 1978, the daughter of Roy Terrill and Terri Louise (Borden) Epperson, in Moberly, MO. She attended Bucklin School and graduated with the class of 1997. Amber married James LeRoy Jenkins on December 7, 2008, at God’s Garden Church in Brookfield, MO.
Amber was a faithful member of God’s Garden Church in Brookfield and was very active in the church. Amber was very creative and enjoyed many hobbies, including cooking, decorating, and crafting. She loved to challenge herself with a good DYI craft and became very talented with them. Amber had a bubbly spirt and a great sense of humor and was always eager to lend a helping hand to those who asked. She also loved her dogs but Amber’s greatest love was for her family.
Amber is survived by her husband James Jenkins of the home; two step-sons, Gabriel (Angie) Jenkins and Elijah Jenkins; one sister, Hope (Chester) Ayers; two nephews, Joshua Walton and Jeremy Walton; two nieces, Alysa Walton and Aimee Walton; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Terry Epperson, sister, Kimberly Walton, and mother-in-law, Arvella Jenkins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm. Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Brookfield Assembly of God Church in Brookfield, MO. The doors will be open at 11:00 am. at the church prior to the service.
