MOBERLY – United States Marshals and the Moberly Area SWAT team were among the agencies that helped arrest the suspect in a deadly shooting Thursday.
The Moberly Police Department says Christopher Viley, 51, was located at a residence in the 1000 block of Sinnock Avenue.
After a brief standoff Viley exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident, according to the police department. Viley faces a first-degree murder charge for the death of Cheryl Gravitt, 57, on Aug. 23.
