Kathryn Lou Bay, born Shannon, passed away Tuesday evening at 4:58 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was 85 years old and is survived by her sister Carol Lee Miles (born Shannon), her son Jeff Bay, her grandson Winter Bay, her granddaughter Sara Harrison (born Bay) and her three children: Jaxson, Jasper, and Stella, her grandson Brandon Bay, and her grandson Brian Bay and his two children Braden and Raley Bay.
She passed peacefully sleeping, at home, surrounded by friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Darrell Bay.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service, and burial will follow in the Shannon family plot at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall with a brief committal service.
