A newborn baby girl was discovered abandoned on the stairs of a Midtown Manhattan subway station on Monday morning, and a three- or four-month-old baby boy was found at a Bronx Dunkin Donuts on Tuesday. The infant found at the subway station, with her umbilical cord still attached, was found awake and alert. Authorities quickly responded, and the baby was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition. The discovery occurred around 9:30 a.m. at the 34th Street-Penn Station stop, specifically at the bottom of the stairs leading to the southbound 1, 2, and 3 trains. A witness spotted the child wrapped in a sheet and immediately called 911, prompting first responders to arrive and transport her to the hospital….
