A Mexican national with an immigration detainer hold allegedly murdered a man in a North Carolina nightclub. A second person was also greatly injured and ended up in the hospital with serious injuries. Giovanny Hernandez-Jaramillo allegedly shot 33-year-old Jorge Alber Dorantes-Carranz while injuring another person. He then fled the area. Although the shooting death happened on March 22nd, Hernandez-Jaramillo was not caught until April 3rd in Houston, Texas. Raleigh police charged him this past Thursday with assault with a deadly weapon with the intention to kill and with murder. He had his first court appearance on Friday and is being held without bond.
