The ActBlue fundraising scandal is heating up in the Lone Star State. In October 2024, the Gateway Pundit reported that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton called for the Department of Justice to investigate the Democrat fundraising powerhouse for “circumstances surrounding highly suspicious campaign contributions made through political committee online contribution platforms.” The state’s own investigation confirmed evidence showing that donations were being made in people’s names without their knowledge or consent.  This was in line with discoveries made by Peter Bernegger and reported by James O’Keefe regarding smurfing activities involving ActBlue.
