As KABC reported, a mother was killed and her daughter was injured following a stabbing attack inside a Burbank, California home. Police say that the incident happened at roughly 6 a.m. in the 2800 block of North Brighton Street. A neighbor, Victor Goli, confirmed that the victims were Arti Varma and her daughter, Meera Varma.
