White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt held a presser on Monday after the attempted assassination of Trump and his Cabinet members. An armed man stormed the lobby of the Washington Hilton and sprinted past a Secret Service checkpoint during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. President Trump, First Lady Melania, Vance and others were safely evacuated amid the shooting. The White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooter, Cole Allen, 31, will appear in federal court on Monday.
