A post-prom celebration at a short-term rental house on Indianapolis’ near north side ended in gunfire early Sunday morning, leaving one woman dead and four others injured. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to the 4000 block of North Park Avenue, near North College Avenue and 38th Street, shortly after midnight on Saturday, over reports of a person who was shot. When officers arrived at the rental, they found at least one gunshot victim on the scene. Two additional victims later walked into the nearby Methodist Hospital with gunshot wounds. All four shooting victims are believed to have been shot at the same location. A fifth person was injured while trying to flee the scene, but they were not shot. IMPD confirmed the gathering…
