The Justice Department on Friday announced it will seek the death penalty against the man who gunned down the young Jewish couple in DC last year. Last May 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez, of Chicago, Illinois, was arrested after gunning down two Israeli Embassy staff members outside of a Jewish museum in DC. The soon-to-be-engaged couple, Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Milgram, 26, were killed as they left an American Jewish Committee event at the Capital Jewish Museum. Rodriguez shouted “Free, free Palestine!” as he was taken into custody, according to law enforcement.
