Following the decision by the Virginia Supreme Court to strike down the attempt by Virginia Democrats to redraw the congressional map in their favor, they appealed to the United States Supreme Court, which was ironic considering they have been calling the Supreme Court illegitimate for months now. Everyone knew that the Supreme Court was not going to override the Virginia Supreme Court, especially on a state-related issue and to no one’s surprise, SCOTUS declined to even hear the case.
