President Trump on Tuesday endorsed Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate Republican primary and passed up John Cornyn. Since neither candidate received more than 50% of the vote in March, there is a runoff election for the Republican Senate race. Trump previously said he would ask the candidate that he doesn’t endorse to drop out of the race.
