Nancy Mace of South Carolina has introduced legislation designed to ban naturalized U.S. citizens from running for the House and Senate, and from holding any position that requires Senate approval. Having something like this in place would have prevented people like Ilhan Omar, Pramala Jayapal and others from ever running in the first place. This is long overdue.
