A dramatic collapse in H-1B visa applications is being hailed as long-overdue proof that one of the most controversial pipelines of foreign labor into the United States is finally being brought under control. According to the reports, new data from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) shows a 38.5 percent drop in properly submitted H-1B registrations for the 2027 fiscal year.
