Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) went crazy during a House Appropriations Committee Hearing on Tuesday, screaming at Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought over the Trump Administration’s cuts to foreign aid and federal spending.  “The Trump administration unveiled its proposed budget for fiscal 2027 earlier this year, which includes a 40 percent increase to the $1 trillion defense budget approved by Congress last year, and a 10 percent cut to non-defense spending,” the Hill reports. DeLauro began her questioning of Vought, immediately accusing the Trump Administration of violating the law and asking about grants being reviewed and limited by political appointees.
