Samuel Wayne Nevins, 73, of Keytesville, MO, died Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Carthage Health and Rehab in Carthage, MO. Samuel was born February 2, 1952 in Ottumwa, IA the son of Carl and Gwendolyn (Schneider) Nevins. He married Linda Faye Anderson on March 6, 1970 in Bloomfield, IA.
Samuel served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was a truck driver and worked maintenance in various locations. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Samuel is survived by his wife Linda of the home, sons Sam J. Nevin of Moberly, MO, Jared Andrew Nevins of Keytesville, MO, sisters Judy Rose, Mary Headley, Janette Keebler, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Shoemaker, several brothers and sisters.
Visitation is Friday, August 22, 2025 from 1-2:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2025 with Military Honor’s all at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Memorial may be made to the Church of donor’s choice.
