Rhae Lynn Cowan, age 70, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at her home. She was born the daughter of Jess and Betty (Anderson) Owens on July 16, 1955 in Springfield, Missouri. She was a 1973 graduate of Braymer High School and received her associates of arts degree from North Central Missouri College, Trenton, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Wayne Cowan, he survives of the home.
Rhaelynn worked as a home care aide in home health and nursing homes. She previously worked at the Missouri Baptist Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. She liked to sing and enjoyed cross stitching. She was a former member of the UMW group at the Plymouth Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne of the home; son, Brad Cowan of Braymer, Missouri; and brother, Mike Owens and his wife, Debbie of Buffalo, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Terri Kampe.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Friends may call at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri on Monday, August 17, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice and may be left at the service or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
