Terry E. Milligan, 76, of Richmond, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, at his home.
Terry was born on April 9, 1949, in Excelsior Springs, the son of Ralph and Lorene (Bayne) Milligan. He was united in marriage to Delores Zuraff in 1980; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: three sons, Scotty Milligan of Richmond, Mark Milligan of Richmond, and Terry Allen of Arkansas; brother, Gary Milligan of Liberty; and granddaughter, Lily Baylis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Milligan, and sister, Kathline Munkirs.
Terry was educated in the community where he was born and raised, building deep roots in the place he called home. Known for his outgoing personality and warm heart, Terry had a special way of connecting with people wherever he went. He was a devoted father who cherished his children and held his family close to his heart. A true enthusiast, when it came to cars, he found joy in working under the hood and sharing that passion with those around him. Whether spending time with loved ones or enjoying a quiet moment with friends, Terry’s presence was always a source of laughter, loyalty, and love.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Terry Milligan Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
