Peggy Ann Buchanan of Columbus, GA, died day, January 20, 2026 at Columbus Hospice in Columbus, Georgia.
Cremation in lieu of funeral.

Born September 6, 1947 in Malta Bend, MO she was the daughter of Aubrey and Anna Wright (Parks) of Malta Bend. Peggy was a 1965 graduate of Malta Bend School. Peggy got her LPN license in Marshall, Missouri and RN degree at Adelphi University in New York. She was also a vet tech who loved animals, especially cats. Peggy was a long time member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Jackson Heights, New York and she loved to sing. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 husband’s (John Kennedy of Blackburn and Leonard Buchanan of Hollis, New York) and 2 brothers (Aubrey Wright of Georgia and Gary Wright of Missouri.
Surviving is her son: Robert Kennedy of Alma; 1 grandson: Aaron Kennedy of Knob Noster, and 1 great-grandson: Maverick.
