Ronald Eugene Fitzpatrick, 87, of Salisbury, MO, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Glasgow Gardens. He was born to John William and Margaret (Parks) Fitzpatrick on November 2, 1938 in Salisbury. Ronald married Lois Ann Johnson on July 23, 1960 in Salisbury, MO and she preceded him in death on March 6, 2017.
Ronald was a graduate of Salisbury High School, class of 1956. He worked at the Mill (now Ag Center), Wright’s Conoco, MoDOT for 32 years and raised cattle. He was an avid quail hunter and loved going fishing. He enjoyed watching Nascar and going to the races, at Knoxville, IA and Moberly Race Way. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Salisbury, MO.
Ronald is survived by his son Jerry (Janice) Fitzpatrick, daughter Susan (Danny) Sturgeon, grandson Shane (Casey) Hatfield, five step grandchildren, and 8 step great grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Lois, parents, sisters-in-law Sharon Kay (McKenzie) Lee, Theresa McKenzie, Mary Johnson, brothers-in-law Harold Howard, and Billy Johnson.
Visitation is Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 10 – 11:00 a.m., with services following at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO, with burial in Asbury Cemetery south of Keytesville, MO. Memorials may be made to the Asbury Cemetery Association.
