Helen Lucille Breshears, 83, of rural Marshall, MO, died Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association. Born September 23, 1942, in Batesville, AR, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. Baker and Helen Elizabeth Moore Baker. Lucille lived in Saline County most of her life and was a graduate of Marshall High School. On April 20, 1963, she married Ralph Lee Breshears who preceded her in death on August 3, 2016. Lucille worked at Marshall Habilitation Center for over 25 years, and with her hard work ethic, she then worked at The Marshall Democrat News for 20 years.

Survivors include five children: Kim Jackson of rural Marshall, Pamala Breshears of Springfield, Robert Breshears (Karlin) of Blackburn, Rhonda LaGore (Johnny) of Waverly, and Darren Breshears (Shelby) of rural Marshall; nine grandchildren: Phillip Counts, Ryan LaGore, Allyson Lloyd, Zachary Breshears, Megan Robinson, Kimber Doss, Bryce Breshears, Kaylee LaRue, JoHanna Breshears; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat Morrow (Larry) of rural Marshall; sister-in-law, Diane Baker, brother-in-law, John Breshears (Lillian); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amber Gunderson; one great-grandson, Grayson Robinson; one sister, Betty Baker; and one brother, Glenn Baker.
