Timothy Alan Morris, 54, of Higginsville, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
Tim was born on August 10, 1972, to Dennis and Linda Morris.
He is survived by his father, Dennis Morris of Higginsville; his sister, Susan (Troy) Lefman of Higginsville; his brother, Mark Morris of Warrensburg; his nephews, Miles and Maxon Lefman; and his niece, Myranda Lefman, all of Higginsville. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Tim grew up in Higginsville, cruising the streets on his bicycle as a youngster, graduating to fast cars as a teenager, and eventually driving his trusty gray pickup truck that just wouldn’t quit. He graduated from Lafayette County C-1 High School in 1990 and the University of Central Missouri in 1996. After college, Tim fought and defeated leukemia. Throughout his life, he worked in a variety of fields, including auto parts sales, car detailing, and custodial work.
Tim was a stranger to no one and could talk (and talk) to just about anyone. He was a collector of things, with a particular fondness for movies, music, antique pens, and koozies. A natural storyteller, Tim often reminisced about good times spent on gravel roads and in empty fields. He never passed up an opportunity for a good joke, usually preceded by his familiar warning to “cover your ears” when youngsters were around.
Tim will be remembered for his stories, his sense of humor, his love of collecting, and the many conversations and memories he shared with those who knew him.
