Larry Ray Haesemeier, 71, of rural Sweet Springs, MO, died Thursday, May 28, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma with Pastor Paul Rempfer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. Born December 14, 1954, in Warrensburg, MO, he was the son of the late Edward Haesemeier and Lorna Anna Gehrken Haesemeier. Larry lived in the rural Sweet Springs area his entire life and was a 1972 graduate of Sweet Springs High School. On October 26, 1974, he married Colleen Limback who survives of the home. Larry loved living on the farm and was fortunate to be able to work on his farm until the moment God called him home. In addition to farming, throughout his working career, he worked at Mid-America Dairymen, Evans Equipment, and retired from the Sweet Springs Special Road District in 2016. Larry was baptized and confirmed at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma where he was a member.

In addition to his wife, Colleen; he is survived by two children, Jennifer Lewis (Carl) of Palm Bay FL, and David Haesesmeier (Iline) of Concordia, MO; four grandchildren: Harrison Boynton (Kristin), Jackson Boynton, Bonnie Boynton, and Emerson Haesemeier; as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Haesemeier and Robert Haesemeier; and daughter-in-law, Kim Haesemeier.
