Mary Ann Mace, age 76, of Brookfield, MO; passed away Tuesday morning, September 29, 2026, at her home in Brookfield. Mary Ann, the youngest of 10 kids, was born on November 18, 1949, the daughter of Roy Marvin and Mary Virlea (Wright) Carter in Brookfield, MO. On December 23, 1967, she married Harold Bell Mace in Brookfield, MO. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2021. Mary worked at Brown Shoe Company, Stanbury Uniforms, and then retired from Walsworth Publishing Company. She enjoyed softball, playing horse shoes, and bowled for many years with her Bowling Angels. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Mary Shannon Moser and friend Kevin Harrison of Marceline, MO; and Marla Stephanie Daley and husband Jeremy of Lawson, MO; one granddaughter, Tiffany Marie Dyer and husband Butch of Linneus, MO; three grandsons, Shane Michael Moser and fiancée Kelsy Finch of Brookfield, MO; Toby Allen Daley, and Bently Wayne Daley both of Lawson, MO; one granddaughter, Riley Marie Dyer of Linneus, MO; two great grandsons, Levi Hunter Dyer of Linneus, MO; and Luke Finch of Brookfield, MO; several niece, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harlod Mace, two sisters, Norma Williams and Inez Rogene Carter, seven brothers, Roy Carter, Charles Carter, Rex Carter, Herbert Carter, Wayne Carter, Ralph Carter, and Marvin Carter. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am. Friday, October 2, 2026, at Pleasant View Baptist Cemetery, Saint Catharine, MO. The family will receive friend from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Rhodes Funeral Home in Brookfield, MO.
