Andrea Lynn Manning, 63, of Raymore, Missouri, formerly of DeWitt, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026, at her home in Raymore.
She was born December 14, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Gene and Kathryn (Lewellen) Plexico. After graduating from Brunswick High School and DeVry University, she pursued a career in information technology, specializing in project management.
Andrea loved traveling the world. Wherever she visited, she always made sure to bring home souvenirs for her two children, who were her greatest source of pride and happiness. She enjoyed playing the piano, riding her bike, taking photographs, completing crossword puzzles in the newspaper, and attending the Kansas City Ballet with her daughter. She was also an avid tennis fan who never missed a match. Her family and friends cherished her gentle presence and heart of gold.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Manning; her son, Henry Manning; her daughter, Lilah Manning; and her brother, Mark Plexico and Heather.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother Raleigh Plexico.
We were blessed to have had her in our lives, and she will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Bittiker Funeral Home, in Carrollton, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the funeral home.
Her burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in DeWitt, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be Nate West, Zander Gann, Daniel Johnson, Hunter Moser, Rodney Lewellen, and Rodger Lewellen.
