In fact, if you have watched television over the last fifty years, you have probably watched a show he created, produced, or directed. Conservatives often complain about the entertainment industry, and there is certainly plenty to complain about, but Burrows directed shows like the Mary Tyler Moore Show, the Bob Newhart Show, Taxi, and countless other quality programs.
