Pennsylvania State trooper Michael E. Pahira, Jr., 44, was killed when a semitruck, allegedly driven by 33-year-old Michael Bon, who entered the country under the Biden administration and obtained a commercial driver’s license from Massachusetts Trooper Pahira was conducting a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) inspection while standing outside his vehicle. The CMV, allegedly driven by Bon, first struck the side mirror on trooper Pahira’s car, which had its emergency lights on, then struck the rear of the CMV being inspected, before then striking trooper Pahira.
