New York lurched farther left on Tuesday night. Levi Strauss nepo baby and incumbent Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman got ousted on Tuesday night by a far-left Mamdani-backed candidate in New York’s House primary. Rep. Goldman got trounced by former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander in the race for New York’s 10th Congressional District. Brad Lander was backed by Communist Mayor Zohran Mamdani. New York Governor Kathy Hochul endorsed Goldman, but it wasn’t enough to carry him this time around. Dan Goldman received support from the pro-Israel lobby which ultimately led to his demise because of the pro-Palestine community in Brooklyn.
