Screenshot The Trump Justice Department continues its crackdown on government fraud and abuse, announcing charges against 15 individuals allegedly involved in a massive food stamp fraud scheme in Massachusetts that prosecutors say cost taxpayers approximately $1.4 million. Fifteen individuals have been charged and arrested for stealing more than $1.4 million in taxpayer-funded benefits. Of those charged, 11 are illegal aliens who were living under stolen identities while they looted programs meant for American citizens. The fraud targeted the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP — food stamps), MassHealth Medicaid, Social Security disability, unemployment insurance, and other federal and state benefits.
