On Wednesday, the Supreme Court heard arguments on whether the Trump administration could end temporary protected status (TPS) for Haitian and Syrian migrants. Leftist judges in two separate cases previously ruled that the Administration’s efforts to end TPS for these migrants was unconstitutional. As Fox News notes, the Supreme Court agreed last month to review the two cases, and granted what’s called “certiorari before judgment.” This refers to reviewing the case on its merits before federal appeals courts can review lower district rulings.
