The girlfriend of 19-year-old Karmelo Anthony, who was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the first-degree murder of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, has publicly launched an “Official Fan Page” supporting her boyfriend, while calling him her “sweet boy.” Valeria Perez, the murderer’s girlfriend, promoted the “StandWithKarmeloAnthony” Instagram account on her own profile before setting it as private. “Hold your head high, my sweet boy. You’re not alone, we’re fighting for you, always. I love you more than words,” Perez wrote on her own account, which is now locked down. Perez has been identified in multiple reports as Karmelo Anthony’s longtime girlfriend.
