Happy Juneteenth! Today is the day the United States celebrates Juneteenth, a little-known date that was recently dug up to divert attention from the slave owner past of the Democrat Party and the real civil rights achievements by brave Republicans who fought to free the slaves. When the Civil War ended, and after Republican President Abraham Lincoln liberated the slaves, Democrats initiated Jim Crow laws to punish blacks. Democrats discriminated against blacks.
