Jerome Willis. Credit:Muscogee County Jail A wicked man brutally murdered a hardworking grandmother last week over a cheap purchase before being killed himself. As WKRC reported on Friday, 44-year-old Dollar General manager Alexis Hill was working on June 23 around 10 a.m. when a man approached the checkout counter to purchase a pair of hamburger buns. The Muscogee County Coroner’s Office reports that the individual, identified as 33-year-old Jerome Willis, handed Hill two crumpled $1 bills, which would seem like a simple transaction. But the situation took a sinister turn as Hill straightened out the money. An unhappy Willis decided at the moment to step aside, pull out a handgun, and shoot her.
