Doris was also a devoted wife, first marrying William “Bill” Wilson Sr. on October 2, 1966, in Orrick, Missouri. They later divorced and then she married Roy Reynolds of Lexington and was married for several years when they later divorced. After several years she then met the love of her life, Adrian Bolton, whom she married on June 23, 1989, at Second Baptist Church in Lexington, Missouri. She later retired from Ray County Community Services, where she passionately contributed to her community. In retirement, she found joy in babysitting, sharing her nurturing spirit with the children in her life and they became her bonus family. Doris delighted in the simple pleasures: spending time with her family and friends, cooking for the holidays, and trying her luck at the casino, especially with the slot machines. She adored her four-legged companion, Bandit, who brought her much happiness.
