Keith Fisher, 74, of Waverly, MO, died Wednesday, April 29, 2026, surrounded by his family, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2026, at Waverly Baptist Church with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Buck-Corder-Cary Addition of the Waverly Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Born September 29, 1951, in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Carl W. Fisher and Frances Parker Fisher Brewe. Keith lived in the Waverly area most of his life and was a graduate of Grand Pass High School. On May 16, 1981, he married Carol Cloughly who survives of the home. Keith’s career was spent as a truck driver and farmer. He had a passion and love for horses and enjoyed riding until his health no longer permitted. Keith was a member of First Baptist Church in Waverly.
In addition to his wife, Carol; he is survived by their children: Joel Fisher (Destiny) of Alma, Dennis Palmer (Keisha) of Marshall, Heather Goins (Daniel) of Waverly, and Mandy Dowdy (David) of Crossville, TN; seven grandchildren: Bradley Palmer, Kyndel Fisher, Kaylor Schreiman, Maggie Hodge (Austin), Joseph Dowdy, Zach Dowdy, and Lily Dowdy; six great-grandchildren: Brynlee, Ziiryn, Spencer, Bailee, Korbyn, and Kolt; two brothers, Scott Brewe (Phyllis) and Marty Brewe (Cathy), all of Waverly; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Frances; his stepfather, Laverne “Snipe” Brewe; and grandson, Damien Brown.
