Cherrill Ann (Nigh) George, 67, of Lexington, Missouri formerly of Savanah, Missouri and St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at her home in Lexington.
Services will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, and the United Methodist Church, 122 South Business Highway 13, Lexington, Missouri. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will directly follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington.

Cherrill was born on January 1, 1959, in St. Joseph to Donald Keith Nigh and Shirley May (Heard) Nigh. Cherrill was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local Number 2 for over 30 years. She was employed at Silgan Containers in St. Joseph for over 30 tears.
Cherrill enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, having a beer, listening to music and visiting with others. Cherrill was a bit stubborn at times but that was who she was. Cherrill is loved by many and will be forever remembered.
Cherrill was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Shirley Nigh; her daughter, Christina Lynn George; sister, Sharon Thomas; and brother, Rick Nigh.
Survivors include, her daughter, Misty Ann George of Lexington; grandsons, Zachariah Christian George of Washington and McCartney “Mac” Taylor of Lexington; three younger sisters, Debra Lynn Eldredge of St. Joseph, Andrea Kay Dowdy of Lexington and Tammie Ray Huffman of Lexington; one brother, Bryen Keith Nigh; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
