Karmelo Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison after a jury convicted him of murder in the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf. 19-year-old Karmelo Anthony will be eligible for parole after half time served. He was facing 99 years in prison. 16-year-old track and football star Austin Metcalf was brutally stabbed to death by Karmelo Anthony in April 2025 during a championship track meet at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
